About the Transition Elephant Programme Founder and Leader
James Vaccaro (CEO of RePattern) is a Systems Thinker and Sustainability Strategist with more than 25 years’ experience in Sustainable Finance and Business.
A dynamic and engaging speaker, experienced facilitator, collaboration catalyst and sense-maker, James is a Senior Associate at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
James was a Founding Member of the UN Principles for Responsible Finance; he is an Advisory Panel Member of GFANZ, and is a member of the UK Government’s Transition Plan Taskforce.
An Innovation Expert, James led the WWF Nature-based Solutions Accelerator; he’s an Advisor to Carbon-13 (a venture-builder for the climate emergency), and a Senior Fellow (previously Board Chair) of the Finance Innovation Lab.
James is also a member of the Design Council Expert Network.
